The month of June celebrates and commemorates the diversity of the LGBTQIA + community, as well as educating and raising awareness of the challenges faced both historically and in the present day.
HSL is an inclusive employer, welcoming staff from all backgrounds and communities; this is supported by our Equal Opportunities and Inclusion and Diversity Policies found on the intranet.
To celebrate Pride Month, our offices will be decorated in rainbow colours and flags to show our support. In addition, On Tap has launched some additional e-cards to send to peers throughout June. Finally, we will end the month with a rainbow inspired dress down in the offices on 30th June.
Speaking up about LGBTQIA+ rights, challenging injustice and making way for more diverse voices is as important as ever. We can all do our part to build a world where everyone can feel included and safe. Treating each other with respect, love and an open mind really goes a long way, so let’s celebrate the giants whose shoulders we stand on and show our colleagues, friends and family members that we love who they are.
