Fire Risk Assessments
Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO), which came into force in 2006, all non-domestic premises in England and Wales (including common areas to blocks of flats and housing) the responsible person must ensure a competent person (this will need to be evidenced) conducts a fire safety risk assessment. The responsible person must then maintain the fire management plan and ensure they have a plan for actioning any recommendations from the risk assessment.
Our experienced team of Fire Risk Assessors will conduct a thorough assessment at site, recording any hazards identified, the associated risk level and any recommended actions required to ensure compliance. An overall evaluation of risk will be allocated and a bespoke assessment produced.
HSL Compliance are able to produce a strategy management plan which ensures buildings are compliant with relevant building regulations and all aspects of fire safety have been considered. This includes: means of escape, emergency lighting, firefighting equipment, ventilation etc.
