Hand/Arm Vibration
(HAV) Assessments
Its been well documented about the risks from heavy use of vibrating equipment, particularly hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS), carpel tunnel syndrome and white finger.
The guidance document for HAV is the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005, meaning employers have a legal obligation to prevent or reduce the risk associated with vibration equipment.
We can provide assessments from qualified occupational hygienists, they will establish the risk levels and who is most susceptible, measure the exposure levels and provide a clear report document the risk and a management plan to reduce this.
