Our Level 3 Award has been designed to prepare delegates for understanding how legislation and Codes of Practice can support the management of legionella bacteria. Candidates will cover a number of topics including:

Legionnaires’ disease and conditions needed for bacteria to multiply
Roles associated with management of legionella;
Approved Code of Practice L8 and Technical Guidance overview
Requirements of a written scheme; and implementing into your organisation
Legionella risk assessments and record keeping
Review; and training and competence of staff

Delegates who successfully complete the course exam will receive an Level 3 QCF certificate
