Last year we announced that we would again be supporting Crisis instead of issuing Christmas cards and gifts. It was heart-warming to receive an email from Crisis, to inform us that our donation contributed towards supporting 2,004 people across the UK.
During the ongoing pandemic, when the message has been to “stay at home”, it really is the time, more than ever, to appreciate how lucky those of us are to have a home to stay safe inside.
Our donation in December contributed towards Crisis guests benefitting from hotel accommodation. They received wellbeing packs including phone credit, face masks, food and clothing. They attended online creative workshops and were helped to reconnect with friends and family. Guests could also make appointments with the Crisis advice team and volunteer healthcare team for check-ups.
HSL Compliance will continue to support Crisis in their resolve to end homelessness.
