Fire Risk Assessment
HSL Compliance offers thorough fire risk assessments for non-domestic premises, identifying hazards, evaluating safety systems and producing practical action plans to ensure compliance and occupant protection.
We produce a strategy management plan which ensures buildings are compliant with relevant building regulations and all aspects of fire safety have been considered. This includes means of escape, emergency lighting, firefighting equipment, ventilation etc.
Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO), which came into force in 2006, all non-domestic premises in England and Wales (including common areas to blocks of flats and housing) the responsible person must ensure a competent person (this will need to be evidenced) conducts a fire safety risk assessment. The responsible person must then maintain the fire management plan and ensure they have a plan for actioning any recommendations from the risk assessment.
Our experienced team of Fire Risk Assessors conduct a thorough assessment at site, recording any hazards identified, the associated risk level and any recommended actions required to ensure compliance. An overall evaluation of risk will be allocated and a bespoke assessment produced.
