COSHH Assessments
It is a requirement of The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 that if you are responsible for people or properties that you minimise (or prevent ideally) the health risks presented by exposure to hazardous substances.
As an employer, or someone who is responsible for people or buildings, it is a legal requirement that you assess the risk presented by such substances.
A COSHH assessment will involve the assessor reviewing any on site activity, what substances, employee and work practices are currently being used and discussing the current control measures in place. These will then be pulled together into a final report, showing a gap analysis and recommendations. These can then be used as an action plan to ensure you are compliant with the latest legislation, something we can then help you manage.
